Conserving the site

The potential impact of future development adjacent to the East Perth Power Station has been reviewed in the context of urban design and conservation of heritage values.

The East Perth Redevelopment Authority completed works to stabilise and prevent further deterioration of buildings in March 2006. The significant buildings and structures of the East Perth Power Station will be retained and conserved as part of the WA Museum's rejuvenation of the building.
